Placing a baby for adoption is probably one of the most difficult decisions a birthparent can face in a lifetime. At FAMILY FOCUS ADOPTION SERVICES you will receive the compassion, sensitivity, and respect that you deserve, as you explore the option of adoption for your baby.

When you contact FAMILY FOCUS, you will be connected with an experienced staff member who will be available to talk with you privately, on the telephone or in person, throughout your pregnancy and then following the placement of your baby, for as long as you wish. During the time that you are considering placing your baby for adoption, FAMILY FOCUS will present you with pictures and profiles of loving adoptive families for you to review. If you wish to meet a potential adoptive family, this will be arranged. If you would prefer that the agency select a family for you that can also be done.

All pre-adoptive families have been thoroughly screened, studied, and approved by FAMILY FOCUS. The screening process includes a criminal background check, child abuse clearances, current medical reports, references, and proof of financial stability. All families' homes are visited, they all attend specialized training, and they are all interviewed extensively to be sure that they are able to provide a child with a safe environment and an abundance of love and care.

Approved agency families waiting to adopt may be traditional two parent families, single parents who have excellent support systems, and well respected same sex couples. Every attempt will be made to honor your wishes regarding the type of family you want to raise your child. Should you wish to maintain some kind of contact with the adoptive family after placement, this can also be arranged through FAMILY FOCUS ADOPTION SERVICES.
